"In all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight"
~ Proverbs 3:6 ~

WORSHIP
During ReFocus, we will all come together at the beginning and ending of the conference for worship, with workshops and more in between. Gatherings will start with some fun and games with our students followed by a time of worship in music and song led by the band Altar Vue. This will prepare our hearts and minds for our teaching session delivered by our keynote speaker Pastor Eric Walker. Learn a little more about each below.

Worship in word
Pastor Eric Walker
Pastor E. will bring us a powerful message to go along with our conference theme based off of Proverbs 4:25 "Let your eyes look directly forward, and your gaze be straight before you." There are so many things that take our eyes off of God and pull us away from our Christian values and desires! We will open our hearts and our minds to the message Pastor E. will bring as we "Refocus".
Pastor Eric Walker is Senior Pastor of Franklin Community Church in Franklin Ky. He was born in St. Paul Minnesota and raised in South Bend, Indiana. In 1999 He moved with his family to Bowling Green Ky And it was there; when God radically changed his life. He truly believes with all his heart that God is still in the transforming business. Pastor E as he is often called has the unique ability to preach to a multi-generational, multi- racial and multi-cultural congregation meeting people right where they are whether they are rich or poor, young or mature, educated or uneducated, businessman or ex-con or as some will say… He has the unique ability to bring the hay down so all the goats can eat.
Pastor Eric’s passion and vision of Franklin Community Church is to make the church once again the driving force in the community of Franklin. He believes very strongly in the power of evangelism and serving the community. He is committed to keeping Mathew 28 Alive, where Jesus simply said, “Go.”
Pastor Eric has received his Diploma in Pastoral Ministry/ Biblical Studies from The Center of Kingdom Growth in Nashville, Tennessee, and he is currently working toward furthering his education with the goal of earning a Degree of Theology.

worship in song
Altar Vue
Altar Vue is a contemporary Praise and Worship band with a desire to spread the love of Jesus Christ. In todays fast pace world, its easy to allow junk to overwhelm our minds and lose focus on the plan God has for each and everyone of us. Our Band name has a simple message. Altar, which we are always at when leading worship, Vue is an acronym for a visual understanding of your environment. At the Altar with God, you can get a visual understanding of your environment (your life) and we're there to lead you into worship and help you get that point of Vue. Altar Vue, a life style of worship.

fun and games
Your ReFocus Hosts
God created joy and happiness and there will be plenty of that at ReFocus! The games will get pretty wild and crazy, but what better way to have some fun than with your Christian brothers and sisters!
What To Expect
Below are the four key components of a night at ReFocus Youth. As the conference approaches, all registered youth leaders are sent a full, detailed breakdown of the entire night.
Pizza and Fellowship
We'll start the night off with free food and drinks and a chance for the students to fellowship. Sometimes the students don't realize just how many Christian brothers and sisters they have in other youth groups until they all get together in one place.
Workshops
Students will have a chance to attend two workshops of their choice during ReFocus. Our workshops cover a number of relevant topics pertaining to students today and their Christian walk.
Gatherings
We'll have two big gatherings throughout the night; one at the beginning and one at the end. Gatherings are a time of fun groups games, worship, reflection, and teaching.
Church Connect
Before our last large gathering, students will meet back with their own youth group, giving leaders a chance to spend some quality time with their students discussing what they learned in the workshops, talking about the message during worship, or however they see fit.
